Barranbinya Revival Project

Barranbinya Tribal Council
Barranbinya is the Aboriginal Tribe associated with the Hospital Creek Massacre site. Pushed to the point of near genocide our small community has struggled through a lack of inclusion amidst entrenched disadvantage.
Our organisation 'Burru Waranha' is not the 'Tribal Council'. As a commercial business, constantly working and present within community, we aim to work on behalf of the Barranbinya Tribe to ensure they are not forgotten. In pursuit of inclusion for our mob, Burru Waranha aims to help the Barranbinya Tribal Council overcome its entrenched disadvantage by:
(1) Supporting the creation, and management, of a Barranbinya Tribal Council,
(2) Support the Barranbinya Tribal Council as it seeks inclusion in land and water opportunities, and
(3) Work hand in hand with the Tribal Council to create capacity building opportunities to overcome disadvantage in pursuit of intergenerational wealth.
Follow us on facebook as we aim to build capacity within community and create opportunities for future generations.
